About this scholarship
San Diego County graduating high school seniors who will attend a four-year U.S. college and major in math, engineering, natural sciences, or computer sciences may apply for AFCEA San Diego Chapter scholarships.
Scholarships provide $2,000 per year, renewable for up to four years, for a maximum total of $8,000.
Submit a completed application co-signed by your counselor with acceptance letter, SAT/ACT scores, transcript showing at least a 3.5 GPA, and two recommendation letters by email to the scholarship chair.

- Cumulative unweighted GPA of 3.5 or higher on a 4.0 scale
- Major in Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM)
- Record of leadership and volunteering activities
- Copy of college/university acceptance letter
- Copy of Financial Aid Award letter from selected college/university
- Copy of current transcripts (unofficial accepted)
- Letter of recommendation from a teacher, counselor, coach, research advisor, or school administrator
- List of other scholarships/awards won
- SAT/ACT scores considered but NOT required
- SAT/ACT scores are considered but not required.
- Scholarship pays $2,000 per year and is renewable for up to four years, up to $8,000 total.
