About this scholarship
High school students in the greater Washington, D.C. metro area (D.C.; Alexandria, Arlington, and Fairfax, Virginia; Prince George's and Montgomery, Maryland) with financial need and a passion for aviation or aerospace may apply for Aero Club Foundation of Washington scholarships. Awards are $5,000; the number of recipients varies.
Funds may pay tuition and fees at an accredited aviation or aerospace program, technical training toward an FAA mechanics certificate or comparable credential, or flight training. Submit the foundation application demonstrating your aviation interest and financial need.
The Aero Club Foundation supports metro-area students pursuing education and careers in aviation and aerospace.
