About this scholarship
Active Duty, Air National Guard, or Air Force Reserve personnel pursuing a master's degree in a non-technical field may apply for the Captain Jodi Callahan Memorial Scholarship through the Air and Space Forces Association. The award is $3,000.
Applicants need a 3.0+ GPA, proof of acceptance or enrollment in an accredited master's program, a supervisor or commander recommendation with an ink signature, and an essay of no more than 600 words on academic goals and how the degree will enhance Air Force service. Submit an official transcript from your master's or undergraduate program.
The scholarship provides financial aid to service members advancing their education in non-technical fields of study.

- Pursuing a Master's degree in a non-technical field of study
- Minimum 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale (or equivalent)
- Completed application form
- One letter of recommendation from your Air or Space Force supervisor or commander (character reference, performance description, and assessment of leadership/volunteer potential)
- Proof of acceptance or enrollment in an accredited Master's program
- Official transcript
- W-9 form (for award recipients)
- Award: 4 awards of $3,000 each
- W-9 form is required for award recipients.
