Advocates for African Americans Carolinas Scholarship

African American graduating seniors from North or South Carolina with a minimum 3.5 GPA may apply through Foundation For The Carolinas.

The scholarship is $2,000. Recipients must enroll full time at a four-year college or university in North or South Carolina and major in engineering, computer science, the sciences, accounting, finance, or business administration. Finalists must agree to an interview.

The fund is supported by Advocates for African-Americans, a Duke Energy employee resource group founded in 1996.
