About this scholarship

Recent chemistry graduates or graduate students with less than one year of work experience who are pursuing a master's in education or secondary chemistry/science teacher certification may apply for ACS-Hach Post-Baccalaureate Teacher Scholarships. Stipends are up to $6,000 for full-time study or up to $3,000 for part-time study, renewable up to three years.

Applicants need a bachelor's or higher in chemistry or a related discipline, acceptance into an education master's or certification program, and U.S. citizenship or permanent residency. Stipends cover tuition, books, room and board, and other education expenses.

The scholarship supports new chemistry professionals committed to becoming secondary educators.
