About this scholarship

U.S. undergraduate students born with cleft lip/palate or other congenital craniofacial conditions may apply for one of four ACPA Randall/LaRossa College Scholarships of $5,000 each. Applicants must be enrolled full time at an accredited U.S. post-secondary institution and have at least a 2.5 GPA.

Selection weighs academic performance, leadership, community and school involvement, and the application essay. Preference goes to rising first-year students and students studying fields related to cleft or craniofacial conditions, though any major is accepted. You may not have received a prior ACPA or Cleft Palate Foundation college scholarship.

The fund honors surgeons Peter Randall, MD, and Don LaRossa, MD, for their work improving life for people with craniofacial conditions.
