About this scholarship
New Mexico residents pursuing a certificate or degree in metals technology with concentrations in machine tool technology and welding at an accredited nonprofit or public institution may apply for the David R. Woodling Memorial Scholarship through the Albuquerque Community Foundation. Award amounts and recipient counts vary by year.
Open to graduating high school seniors, current undergraduates, and students with a GED. Awards may cover tuition, fees, books, and required tools or materials. Several awards are made annually.
The Stocker Foundation established the scholarship in 2007 in memory of David R. Woodling to support metals technology students.
