Abie Brown Memorial String Scholarship

Outstanding string students at the Eckhardt-Gramatté Conservatory of Music at Brandon University may be nominated for this scholarship.

One award is granted annually; the value varies. The scholarship is not divided among multiple recipients.

Preference goes to violinists, with further preference for students also involved in fiddling. The Abie Brown family and the Carberry Music and Arts Festival established this award in honour of Abie Brown's lifelong interest in fiddling.
