About this scholarship
Canadian citizens or permanent residents of any age diagnosed with Crohn's disease or ulcerative colitis may apply. You must be enrolled in or awaiting acceptance to a Canadian university, college, or trade school for a diploma, associate, undergraduate, or graduate degree.
Fifteen one-time $5,000 scholarships are awarded annually through Crohn's and Colitis Canada, with funding from AbbVie Canada.
Apply with a 500-word essay and two recommendation letters. Selection weighs academic aspiration, wellness management, and community involvement. Employees of Crohn's and Colitis Canada or AbbVie and their immediate family members are not eligible.
