About this scholarship
Dependents or full-time employees of American Bus Association member companies in good standing may apply. Employees must have at least one year of eligible employment with a member company by January 1 of the award year.
Applicants must be freshmen through graduate students with a transportation-, travel-, or tourism-related major and a minimum 3.0 GPA. Seven awards of $5,000 are made annually. Submit a short essay on how your major relates to the transportation, travel, and tourism industries.
The ABA Foundation promotes academic excellence and diversity in the motorcoach travel and tour industry.

- Short essay explaining how the major relates to transportation, travel, and tourism industries
- Must be a full-time employee or dependent of a full-time employee of ABA member company in good standing
- Must have been employed by an ABA member company in good standing for at least one year as of January 1 in the year in which the scholarships are awarded
- Must be a freshman, sophomore, junior, senior, or graduate student
- Must hold a minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
