About this scholarship
Undergraduate or graduate students from traditionally underrepresented groups with a declared major relevant to travel and tourism may apply for the American Bus Association Diversity Scholarship.
One $5,000 award is made annually. ABA-member affiliation receives additional consideration.
Submit a 500-word essay on the role you hope to play in advancing the transportation, motorcoach, travel, and tourism industries. The ABA Foundation promotes academic excellence and diversity in the motorcoach travel and tour industry.

- 500-word essay discussing the applicant's hoped-for role in advancing transportation, motorcoach, travel, and tourism/hospitality industries
- Be a freshman, sophomore, junior, senior, or graduate student at an accredited university
- Have a declared major or course of study relevant to the travel and tourism industry
- Demonstrate diversity (cultures, socioeconomic backgrounds, nationality, minorities, age, race, or ethnicity) to evaluators
