About this scholarship

AAI members who received a Ph.D. or M.D. (or equivalent) within the previous 15 years in immunology or a related field may apply for the AAI Public Policy Fellows Program, a one-year science-policy fellowship running May through April.

The program includes monthly virtual meetings, special advocacy projects, and a Capitol Hill Day. If Capitol Hill Day is held in person, AAI covers flights, hotel, and reasonable travel expenses per its volunteer travel policy. Award support otherwise varies.
