About this scholarship

High school seniors entering college or current undergraduates with a personal or family connection to Arizona or California agriculture may apply. You or an immediate family member must be involved in farming in one of those states. Any field of study is eligible.

Awards are $2,000 per recipient. The number of recipients varies each year.

Submit the application with a personal essay, letters of recommendation, and proof of financial need and academic standing by the posted deadline. The foundation honors former Sunkist Director Arthur W. Bodine.

  • Completed Statement of Expenses and Resources (projected expenses and financial resources for the academic year)
  • Background in California or Arizona agriculture (student or immediate family derived majority of income from agriculture)
