A.S. Mowat Prize

Master's students in their first year at Dalhousie, in any discipline, may apply for this one-time $1,500 in-program prize. Canadian and international students are eligible. You must be enrolled in the first year of a master's program as of the application deadline.

Apply through the Faculty of Graduate Studies. The prize was established in 1984 with gifts from donors, alumni, and staff who worked and studied under Professor Alexander S. Mowat, O.E. Smith Professor of Education at Dalhousie from 1939 to 1969.
