A Footprint in the Sand Bursary

For continuing University of Calgary undergraduates majoring in English and entering second, third, or fourth year. Students must be registered full-time but need not carry a full course load. Selection considers academic merit and financial need. Students of any citizenship or residency may be considered.

Two bursaries of up to $1,750 each are offered annually.

Established by an anonymous donor in memory of John Stanley (Jack) Peach. The award has no connection to Margaret Fishback Powers or the poem commonly known as Footprints.
