A. F. Barss Memorial Scholarship

For graduate students in Agricultural Economics at UBC Vancouver, with preference for those whose studies have an international focus.

Scholarships of varying amounts are endowed by Ambassador Lester D. Mallory in memory of Dr. Alden F. Barss, a founding faculty member of the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences who guided Mallory's career. Mallory was a UBC alumnus who went on to serve as Assistant Secretary of State for Latin American Affairs.

There is no separate application. Awards are made on faculty recommendation.
