About this scholarship
Children of first responders or military service members who lost a parent or whose parent was injured and unable to work may apply. You must be under 25, hold a high school diploma or equivalent or be a current high school senior, and maintain at least a 2.0 GPA. Enrollment in an accredited trade school, college, or university is required.
Awards range up to $15,000 per recipient and may renew for up to six academic years. The number of recipients varies.
Submit essays, two letters of recommendation, proof of dependency, and documentation of a parent's service and death or disability. Applications open November 1 and close March 15.
