About this scholarship
Students living in the Rocky Mountain region with a connection to the mission-critical support industry, such as data centers, uptime, or reliability engineering, may apply for 7x24 Exchange Rocky Mountain Chapter scholarships. Applicants under 18 must have a parent or legal guardian co-sign the application.
Awards of $5,000 are available per recipient; the number of recipients varies by year. Submit the chapter application by the posted deadline.
The chapter brings together organizations to improve reliability in mission-critical systems and operations.

- Essay of no more than 750 words about data centers and the applicant's intended contribution to the data-center industry
- Four short-answer responses covering extracurricular activities, organizations, community service, and work experience
- Parent or legal guardian co-signature for applicants under age 18
- Essay must be attached and limited to 1 page with no more than 750 words
- Four short-answer form fields, each with a 500-character limit (~83 words): Extracurricular Activities; Organizations you belong to; Community Service Activities; Work Experience
- Applicant must live in the Colorado Rocky Mountain region
- Must be enrolled as a full-time student in good standing (above-average GPA encouraged)
- Applicants under 18 must have the application co-signed by a parent or legal guardian
- Personal info, school/GPA, and planned major/program required
- Application deadline: Friday, 24 April 2026; submit via email to scholarship@7x24rmc.org or by mail
- Above-average GPA is encouraged but not required.
