About this scholarship
South Asian high school and college students in the U.S. may submit work for the Hindus for Human Rights Civil Rights Scholarship Contest.
Up to five awards of $1,500 each are available. Essay winners may be published with the Polis Project; art winners may appear in Skipping Stones Magazine.
Submit a nonfiction essay of 1,000 to 1,500 words or physical art with a 200 to 300 word artist statement exploring migration, borders, and belonging by connecting personal and other migration stories.
